It looks like they’re in the slug bug.

Marigold’ll get a sore neck, Phoebe? Not concerned about you a gouged eye or two?

Good thing they got the car with the unicorn-size seatbelt option ;-)

Phoebe doesn’t get the point. And for every tree? Just imagined being poked by a knife or a spear? Or maybe even cats? Oh wait, that happens to me all the time.

Note to child: Explain the rules of a game and agree to participation before commencing it, especially if said game involves suddenly elbowing your friend in her throat.

(INB4 “Back in MY day kids used to play in freeway traffic and smash each others’ skulls with baseball bats and go for free candy with strangers ALL THE TIME, and those of us who survived turned out FINE!!”)

I’m now curious as to where Dana is from. In the east, we say “punch-buggy,” and I’ve been under the impression that “slug-bug” is a Midwestern variant.

I dunno, but I don’t think I’d risk annoying someone that had a long horn on her forehead. XD

I never did like that game.

I much prefer “Popeye”. Admittedly, you can only play that one at night.

That’s not my dad and brother play the game. They just shout out what they see. No poking, hitting, or prodding involved.

I remember that Bumblebee had to be changed from a VW Beetle to a Chevy Camaro in the Bayformers movies because VW didn’t want their car associated with violence…
