I’ve learned a new comic strip vocabulary word: first “blork” (from Thatababy) and now “pronk.”

Urban Dictionary must be mistaken.a term “created” by the character guido carosella (AKA ‘strong guy’) from the Marvel comic book X-factor in the 1990s. It denotes a self-absorbed person that is ignorant of the world around him but is not a “stupid-head.”

Pronk: “(of a springbok or other antelope) leap in the air with an arched back and stiff legs, typically as a form of display or when threatened.” (Not only is this a real word, but it is being used correctly. The only thing is that Marigold doesn’t look particularly threatened).

Marigold is not jumping. She is staying in place, and pushing the Earth away, until it returns to her out of love. Unicorn!

I think ‘pronking’ is a South African word; they use that word to describe the play behavior of gazelles and Impalas.

Oh, Phoebe!!! How old ARE you that you don’t recognize and enjoy gleefulness when you see it? Your father would be embarrassed!

Actually it is call Capriole. It is part of a combination used to clear out pack hunters behind you that have caught you in an ambush. You don’t have to commit the front legs to push out a more powerful strike, thus exposing the throat to the wolves in front. It is followed by the Corbett, a rearing jump to clear out the forefront. And finish them off with a Piaffe stamping. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7KDHhdY-ak has a Capriole near the end.

Only the Lipizzan or a few wild mustangs can do this combo.

And when I jump, it’s called mycadon losophate.

And when I urinate, it’s called sorry to the toilet.

And when I make up words, no one cares.

    This is Marigold.

She is a vain and beautiful unicorn.

She slowly works toward having a selfless ego for the happiness of her friend, Phoebe.

She is also working on her pronking skills.

    Be like Marigold.
