Whenever Marigold whinnies, I can never tell whether she’s making actual horse noises or literally saying “whinny”.

In this case, it would be pretty funny if she literally said “freaked-out whinny”.

Marigold low-key looks like a Rankin Bass puppet in the last panel. XD

Naysayers can be a good thing. They help you find questions you might have forgotten to answer.

You’re a good friend, Marigold!

They are relieved you aren’t moving, changing schools or towns or cities or countries or something more sad.

Phoebe should listen to the 1978 song “Le Freak”. The lyrics start off as, “One, two, Ah, freak out! Le freak, c’est chic, Freak out!”

Dakota probably is crying up a storm now that Phoebe is (hopefully for her own sake) out of hearing range.

Aww! Marigold is a good friend.

It’s only because your move doesn’t involve you leaving the state. Or even the neighborhood. If you want drama, try talking them into helping you move.

I think at least part of the reason they’re so chill about it because Phoebe’s at least not moving to a whole new town and needing to transfer to a totally different school.

There’s probably some unicorn who has a gimmick of freaking out. “Fred Freaky Fetlocks”, or something.

Good thing Phoebe could tell that was an honest try, otherwise she would have been mad at the thought that Marigold was mocking her.

Is she just screaming the words Freaked-out Whinny?

Marigold just blurting out “FREAKED-OUT WHINNY!” reminds me of people saying/yelling “CATCHPHRASE!” as their catchphrase.
