One of the services that spouse and I perform for each other is detagging. Usually at the request of the one whose neck is being (ahem) bugged by the tag. The proportion of upper torso clothing that needs detagging seems to run at about 40% or so, and interestingly, sometimes only after several launderings. You’d THINK that companies would want those tags to persist, in the belief that it would be good advertising. That they clearly do NOT want that must imply that they think the quality of their clothing is insufficient to cause good word of mouth advertising.
Hmmm. Mama Panda likes to pounce on me, if I have a bug on me. It must be some basic primate urge. And no, she doesn’t eat said bug. I don’t think she does, anyway.
I once had a June bug fly into my nightshirt with out me knowing it. I started falling asleep when I felt a slight pinching and heard the buzzing. I freaked out and ripped my shirt off and threw it across the room.
I once woke up one night in an absolute panic because I thought I had a spider in my shirt. Turned out the end of my braid had somehow slipped under my collar and what I felt was just my braid sliding down my back when I rolled over. I have short hair now =D

It’s also nice to make an adjustment for her if/when her tag is showing.

Is that lavender dotted blouse the only lavender dotted blouse Opal has that has a tag?

I’ve often wondered why clothing makers insist on making their tags out of scratchy material.

Removing tags from clothing is one of my superpowers. It’s about the only reason my wife keeps me around. Well, that and my spider smashing powers.
