I was playing cars and trucks with my grandson when he was a wee boy. He’ll be 17 soon. He loved his cars and trucks! I had a truck and flew it in the air like a plane. He got so indignant and reached up and brought my hand down. He said seriously, “Poppa—trucks don’t fly!” I said, “Mine does.” He vigorously shook his head and said, “No! Trucks don’t fly!” He had really been upset. So that was the last time my truck took flight! lol :-)
It’s a lot easier than working on that jalopy in the garage. I bought a remote-controlled mouse toy for my cats. It was pretty zippy once you took off the mouse-shaped body. However, the toy needed constant tinkering because cat hair would get in the gears, but the cats loved chasing it across the hardwood floors. They were never so happy as when they carried it back to me, holding it by the antenna wire.

might as well go to Radio Shack and find a copy of the same car, hoping Nelson won’t notice

I always hated to break other people’s stuff. That why I wanted my own.

The other day, it was about planes. Today, it’s automobiles. I sense an upcoming trainwreck!

So Earl, when you buy Nelson a new remote car, get two and you can have races.

I hope he wasn’t using the car to relive Evel Knevel stunts.

For lack of tools, this long retired E-Engineer fixed my, now middle aged, kids walkie talkies with my sledge-hammer.
