Opal you’d have better luck getting something intelligent out of, Roscoe.

Sometimes, the cat opens its mouth, I think that it is about to say something intelligent, and then hairball.

Poor grandpas. After many years of their firm paternalistic control, their wives and daughters feel free to openly tease and mock them, usually affectionally. It’s the human equivalent of bearding the lion in his den.

Opal is one of the meanest people I’ve met in comics. Who belittles their husband this much? I feel sorry for that spouse!
