That would be a loupe.

I do a tol’able job washing dishes. But I run the electric dishwasher 2 or 3 times a week to do a really good job on the glasses, plates and flatware. And scrape a bit off the fork with my fingernail before I put it at Spouse’s place, so I won’t get jibber-jabbered for it.

Earl could have manned up and said “I won’t do this cleaning until you demonstrate a better washing regime, I’ll await your progress”

Whata world, he gets punished because she did a poor job

Question is, did she do that last load or did he?

I usually sympathize with Earl, but this time he REALLY shoved his whole foot into his mouth.

that’s why you shouldn’t play with your toys at the dinner table

At least he didn’t point it at her face.

When you do an equal amount of the work around there Earl, you can complain. Until then, shut your mouth.

Now you know why the jeweller got rid of his eyepiece!

And just two days ago he was telling Nelson about all the mistakes young people make because their brains aren’t ripe yet. Looks like Earl’s has some ripening to do too.

Well Earl, if you don’t like something the way it is done, do it yourself. Especially when Opal tells you to.

I remember being at my Grandparents doing dishes …. my Grandmother would wash but didn’t put a lot of effort in scrubbing stuck on food ……. my Grandfather would take the dish or utensil and slip it back around to be washed again and once in awhile I’d see my Grandmother look at the item, wash it again …… after everything was washed, dried and put away ……. she’d comment that it seemed there were a lot more to wash then she thought …. never let on that she was rewashing the same items ……. :)

Never knows when to shut up.

Quite often lessons are learned after the fact.
