Or when the type of lady who wouldn’t give you the time of day smiles and says hello.

And they don’t even know what age you are..At least he’s not plastered with cosmetics to “hide” his wrinkles.

Or when some well-meaning bimbo gets cutesy and announces your age as “(age number)-years young!”

A few years back there was a news clip of man on the street reporter referring to a man as 80 years young. The man responded “up yours.”

I say, let us be kind to the woman… maybe she is truly just admiring the fellow’s generous moustache? I’d prefer to think so.

They think you aren’t gonna hit on them. Right, but little do they know what you’re thinking!

They are thinking about how good looking that woman must have been 20 years ago…….

Young people don’t say that, it is only those who are trying to hide from their age that will say that to make themselves feel better.Believe me, we realize how old(or fat, or frail looking) we are.

At my age I take what I can get, and be happy about it. It could be much worse.

Does it make me a Plugger to hate the new format for this page?

I called it ‘official’ when a young lady called me ‘Hon’ at the grocery store.

On a you-know-you’re-getting-old-when list I once read, one of the items was:
