When the weather is bad, our newspaper carrier double bags the paper. BUT he puts both bags on the same way! (We get the Sunday paper and the local news in print.)
I still don’t swear out loud 99.9% of the time. I still consider it rude when other people use @#!& in an ordinary conversation! Just the way I was raised!
I prefer “son-of-a-biscuit”. Perfectly acceptable whether alone or not. If around others, only those not paying attention will think you uttered something a whole lot worse!

I really love the e-edition of my newspaper.

To prevent such a thing from happening, why can’t the newspaper people tie a knot or put a twist-tie on the open end of the bag?

You’re a plugger if you still get a print newspaper!

If I get angry enough, it’s “bloody stupid.” I also always pick up the paper by the middle…

Mine is, “Oh, horse-feathers.” Don’t know where I came up with that, other than I was raised with horses since I was born.

You are a dedicated plugger if you still get a newspaper.

Where I live when it rains or snows, the paper is put in plastic and knotted at the end. I guess we’re kind of lucky.
