Just you try to replace a disposal in one of these new-modern under the sink cabinets — the one with the interfering stile between the two narrow doors.
Best-thing ever created was the rubber-cupped “picker-upper &/or grabber”, with the trigger-handle. Won’t help much with plumbing, but it’s a back/joint/frustration-saver, both in and outside of the home. (My personal preference is a 32-incher…just the right-length for no-stoop inside, and from the seat of the lawn-tractor outside.) Both light in weight, and decently-priced!

I can still get in and out, but it sure makes the back sore afterwards (and sometimes during as well).

I once could just drop onto the floor but now I have to plan the descent as well as the ascent.

My co-worker Arthur is always there but never helps. He’s just a pain. The best job he does is lowering floors. I wish I could fire Arthur Itis.

I can relate to that. Living in the same house for 35 years I now find I can no longer crawl and stoop like I used to.

Backing out is easy, the hard part is getting back to a standing position.

I just had to kneel down to get a fresh box of coffee from under the counter at work, and had to ask some random male co-work to help me get back up!

I find it to be good practice for getting in and out of cars. Putting seat belts on is another story.

I have to lay on my back with towels under my head and neck.
