Women have an entirely different set of clothes rules.

Why not leave the cap on if the rest of him looks good?

Especially if the cap is special to you because one of your kids bought it for you.

Personally, I am SO SICK of those caps everywhere. Wish I could do the Tony Soprano dead-eye stare to make people take them off in restaurants!

You shouldn’t wear a hat in doors. I wear mine sometimes indoors. Nothing to get panties in a knot about. Depends on where I’m eating.

It’s his " formal dress" hat. I have one and wear it when I’m all dressed up." I do take it off in church though but wear it in the parish hall.

At least he has it on right. When I was a kid only catchers and jerks wore them backwards.

I always find it odd when someone wearing a baseball cap criticizes someone for wearing one backwards. Especially when it is at the table. And especially when the cap looks like it has been around the corral a few times. Sort of like when someone wearing baggy overalls complains about kids wearing baggy pants. I remember watching a father (I assume) swatting the hat off his son’s (again an assumption) head in a restaurant, loudly telling him, “I told you to take off your hat at the table!” all the while wearing a baseball cap himself.

I do not understand what is wrong.

I’m uncomfortable at most formal occasions, so not having my cap on, just adds TO it! Perhaps, a FEDORA?!

But it’s my best one.

Like being punctual, dressing appropriately is a sign of disrespect and vice versa

When an older plugger walks inside, the cap or hat will come off. It’s a habit.

My ex thought that way and he wasn’t even a plugger then

every ‘patriot’ I see wears their MAGA hat during the national anthem/ Pedge.

My wife was so happy when I found a nice wool Stetson hat that fit. Not a cowboy hat. More in the line of Indiana Jones, but not leather.

Rarely a baseball cap with a team logo. Pluggers wear gimme caps.
