Bad luck or No luck.

So the old rhyme is wrong.. It isn’t “step on a crack, break your mama’s back”, it’s “step on a crack, break YOUR OWN BACK!” ;D

If I’m ever accused of rolling a joint (it’s legal here) it’s my ankle!

Wasn’t for bad luck I’d have no luck at all …

In my town, if you want to avoid stepping on sidewalk cracks, you’ll have to walk on the grass.

I remember stepping on cracks to prove I didn’t believe in superstitions.

Around here, if you would step on a sidewalk joint/crack, you’d probably roll an ankle as most are heaved up from this past winter weather. They don’t quite settle fully back into place.

But his Mother’s back is OK, so there’s that!

Ha, I tweaked my foot when my pup drug me into briars so he could poop! Pulled a tendon, may take months to heal, been nearly three weeks.

He should be wearing his white Reeboks.

ankles? Nah my ankles are fine, strong as an ox. My knees however..

Ouch!

This fatty’s ankles look like they have reached the limits of weight that can carry safely.

I can twist my ankle whatever I’m doing. It even happens sometimes when I’m just sitting.

Are people still believing that old saw?

I twisted my knee getting out of my rocking chair. Was on crutches for 2 days. (True story)

One upside of wearing biker boots is it’s a lot harder to twist an ankle. Now my knees; that’s a different subject.

Twisted my knee last week tripping over the dog bed. The dog bed that was exactly where I put it. In the place that, except for a few months between puppers, has had a dog bed for over 40 years. Face it, I’m a klutz.

Mom needs to take one for the team.
