10,000 steps is supposed to be equal to a mile, but for how tall of a person? Differnt height, different stride length.
I measured the distance of my walking route and bike riding route with an odometer.

It’s the number of steps that matters. As for distance, results will vary according to leg length.

I keep a rough track of both – try to do around 1500cal and 9000steps per day, but I don’t sweat it if I don’t.

I only count steps when I’m climbing them as in why did they put so many friggin steps here instead of an elevator
