Coinciding with the CDC guidance that vaccinated folks can pretty much go back to pre-quarantine rules…

…Not a bad way to end the week, after all.

A total opposite of the Party Of Trump.

As much as I am a Fauci Fan and have done modified compliance with CDC guidance this past year, the whiplash of recent standards and directives is getting frustrating. Mask, mask here, no mask there, mask on, mask off…the political aspects and pressure to make the changes start to cause a credibility problem.

I understand that it has been a mass human experiment try this/try that effort the past year but the rapidity of the changes leads many to either go full tilt as they try to keep up or just say WTF the hell with it if looking for an excuse. Pick a lane and try to stay in it for at least a reasonable amount of time.

The one thing that is obvious is that masks and hand washing work without question. This is the first year in many many years that I went through the entire winter without even the hint of a cold starting.

A little common sense tempers the severe caution of Cdc guidance over the past year. I keep a mask around my neck when i’m out on the bike but might get into a crowd. Wearing it in stores is just common courtesy. It’s not a small benefit that we’ve had no flu this year.
