I “forgot” to do laundry on Thursday (because I was online for 14 hours straight) so I had to go shopping on Friday in previously-worn trousers and an old t-shirt I found in the back of my closet. Hadn’t worn that shirt in years. Made the mistake of patting my belly after lunch and raising a visibly obvious cloud of dust, unsettling the family of four sitting next to me. I told the little boy, “Sorry, us old people get dusty if we sit around too long.”

You can’t take me anywhere….

I pay for my laundry, and eat out everyday, just so I’m not reminded that I am alive.

I guess I should hire a maid too, and avoid cleaning the house.

Indeed, they won’t. My laundry was done yesterday, but I have a few dishes looking at me dirty again.

don’t wash them -they just get dirty again

I did laundry yesterday.

I do my dishes once a week, just to keep the sink clean.
