I wouldn’t spend $30-#40 just to go so one of the old classics, let alone the trash they produce today.

If you figure a movie in a theatre today costs $15.00 for admission and another $15.00 for food and drink then with all the movies and binge watching of tv shows we have done these last 15 months the home theatre setup has paid for itself.

I believe the late Alan King once did some calculations and figured that the money a couple spends to go into town once a month, see a show, have dinner at a nice restaurant, and pay for gas, tolls, parking, and babysitting, over the course of ten or twelve years, could have paid for their kids’ college education.
