It’s hard making friends for some of us guys.

I resemble this comic. I just stay at home when I’m not working. I don’t have any motivation to go out.

Husband used to go have breakfast once a week with the guys, but when he couldn’t remember who was there or what he ate, I realized he really was getting dementia. Tried to deny it for quite awhile.

Boy, this hit’s home.

He should go out with the girls. We’re more fun anyway.

I used to go out about once a month with the boys. Nothing major, just pizza and beer.

My lady friend at the time said that was “unacceptable.” She became my former lady friend.

If I want to get to know a stranger, I just pick up someone else’s ball on the golf course.

Me, neither. Most of my “Boyz” have passed on. Those remaining are scattered and probably not inclined to burn the midnight alcohol any more than I am any more. Sigh.

Snip, snip, eh?

My brother and I have different types of friends. He has a lot of friends with whom he has a casual relationship, I have a stronger relationship with far fewer friends. His way works for him, my way works for me. I would get overwhelmed with so many people wanting to be friends with me, he would get overwhelmed at anything more than a casual relationship.

To each his own. Happy New Year.

Maybe because we ‘ve learned that out “ friends” are friends only as long as they can use us.
