Man: Wrapping present is a cinch. First you get your paper. Then you get your scissors. Then you get your tape. Then you get a pitiful, helpless look on your face and somebody will do it for you.
Iâm a big fan of those booths in shopping centres that do it for a gold coin donation. I just drop a twenty or a fifty on them, o get a coffee, and come back to it being done better than I ever could.
SIL decided I would help her wrap presents while brudder was banished to the kitchen to make cookies, since, according to her he couldnât wrap a present even if his life depended upon it. He went snickering quietly, and I was snickering quietly too. Wrapped a present, and, low and behold, it looked just like what I was supposed to wrap. SIL got an annoyed look on her face and asked, âWhat is that mess???â Brudder jumped out of the kitchen, âShe taught me everything she knows about wrapping presents!â Banished to the kitchen to help him.
Weâre both in there with a teaspoon each of cookie dough, almost in our mouths. SIL, âAND Donât Eat the Cookie Dough!â

âSomebody will do it for you?â Thatâs just code for âa family member, not the recipient, will do it for youâ.
