Maybe the second is to watch less TV. To be an astronaut, requires excellent grades and a strong work ethic. Scary, I sound like my grandfather the doctor. He was right all the time. Guess what, I am not a doctor by a moon shot! Ha
It’s funny. My girls have to do “remote learning” due to Covid, and they hate it; but, while they have always brought home great report cards, they’re both getting straight A’s now!
I’ve just been reading yesterday’s comments. Somebody quoted, “Never trust a smiling cat!” and credited this to Garfield. Garfield may have used it but it had already been spoken by Snoopy. When I was at Junior School, there were some Snoopy posters up in a classroom and one of them showed a severely scratched Snoopy saying, “Never trust a smiling cat.”
A few years later, I read a postcard showing a bandaged dog resting in bed with some medicine nearby. The comment was “Never fight a cat!”

It’s a bad choice if your dog is disappointed in you.

In my house homework was done or no TV. So I did mine as soon as I got home.

Mostly I turn on the TV, doing something else, cooking, cleaning the flat and so on!

We lived with my grandparents so watched their TV. Moved to Idaho in 1967. We didn’t get a TV til 1974 when dad went to Utapao, Thailand.

Once again, Rover shows who has the brains here. Too much TV Red.

Watching too much tv in the ‘60s? Wait until cable and satellite arrive with a gazillion channels.

Calvin and Red are on the same boat.

Our oldest daughter usually did her homework with the TV on. The effect? She was Valedictorian when she graduated from high school.

My new years resolution, not to make them. Only one I can ever keep.
