So how many biscuits did each Lassie eat? It’s reported there were nine dogs that portrayed Lassie, so each Lassie ate half gazillion divided by nine, and the answer is, a whole bunch. Yip yip yip yip yip

If Milky Bones was a sponsor, Lassie would have one on every show.

Lassie got paychecks, Rover, so he or she could buy what they wanted to.

I am now dog sitting a golden retriever for several days, who luckily is a friend of my beagle. They do dog therapy together most Sundays. Our guest has so far refused to eat any dog food that was sent for her but is willing to eat dog treats. I give her the bowl of food, leave it on the floor about 30 seconds, then take it away. (The first time, she had it long enough. I have to now pick my dog up first or she will go for the bowl. I thought maybe a little competition might spur our guest to eat, but no.) She was given one treat at the usual time for my dog. I was told she might not eat at all. I was also told she is passive. She’s not. She is dominant and yet very obedient. She and my dog have been jockeying all day to see who is in charge, and they seem to have found a happy medium, with a little help from me. No problems.
