Red should have chosen a limb on the other side of the tree. Getting down that thick trunk from that side does look challenging.

Yep… climbing UP a tree is always a lot easier than getting down. Learned that, too, as a kid.

It’s a legendary meme that has entered our television watching collective consciousness. Doesn’t matter if it’s accurate. It’s just funny, and I enjoyed the comic.

It’s interesting that Timmy is always remembered as Lassie’s human pal from the TV show, as opposed to Jeff Miller before him and the various forest rangers and Ron Holden who came after him. Surely someone in one of those 591 episodes had to be rescued from a well or a mineshaft or something!
