Hmmmm I suspect it’s something they only have in places with lots of snow. We haven’t seen enough snow in northern NJ in the last 10 years to even come close to creating a tree well.

Thanks for the info. I live in Los Angeles County in Southern California, so even the sight of snow is almost nonexistent. But knowledge is power, lol!

The sand at Indiana Dunes developed a sinkhole,almost killed a child several years back when he was swallowed up….
