Did Neil and Buzz find that out about the moon’s shape when they were closer to it before landing thereon?

    What about 5,990, 59,900, 599,000 etc.?

I’ve seen a flock of ducks fly backwards. Admittedly, they were trying to fly forwards, but the wind was too strong, and they landed as soon as they realized what was happening.

Hummingbirds fly backwards so they can see where they have been!

AND, speaking of backwards, did the artist who drew the December 19, 1918 “Champs and Chumps” cartoon ever identify “the chap who walked backwards across the continent”?!?

499 is the smallest number whose digits add up to 22, 399 is the smallest number whose digits add up to 21, 299 is the smallest number whose digits add up to 20… 1 is the smallest number whose digits add up to 1…

Does that mean that eggs are moon-shaped?

The moon IS round – and so is an egg, or a pear or an apple. Round does not imply perfect sphere.

The moon looks pretty round to me when it’s full!.And big whoop about 599. You can make up facts like that about any number. What’s the smallest number whose digits add up to one? Anybody? Give up? It’s 1! Now about two? Anybody? It’s 2! OK, if we’re going to go with non-single digit numbers then it’s 10 and 11.

To me the smallest digits of 599 is 5. For example: 5+9=14; 14+9=23 as stated in Ribley’s BUT if you take 2+3 from the 23 you get 5
