why am I not surprised about the tumbleweed bit? because I’m not Victorville, California (must’ve cost quite a bit to send those dried sagebrushes to the city dump for yard debris)

Ketchup is a great example of a Newtonian fluid. It flows that slowly through the small neck of a bottle, but it flows much faster in a bigger space.

Can you even get ketchup in glass bottles any more? All I ever see is plastic.

Those homes not trapped by Tumbleweeds enjoyed reading Pogo instead.

Wasn’t there an episode of “The Outer Limits” about sentient tumbleweeds that chased down humans?

Oh, so she wasn’t batting her eyes at me flirtatiously? That explains a lot.

I’m sure it was fun watching people blink all day and reporting your findings.

Sometimes the ketchup moves at 0 MPY. Then there are the times that it just splorts out at 100 MPH covering everything when you only wanted just a small splat.

So I guess Ripley’s geniuses calculated 25 MPY is the average?

25 miles per year works out to about 3 inches per minute by my calculation.

How big would the ketchup bottle have to be to leave a line of ketchup on a 25 mile long hot dog?

Reminds me of an old Outer Limits episode with the tumble weeds. Spooky!

I wonder if those women blinking more often than men were wearing mascara? That stuff irritates your eyes.
