Fun fact: Sawai Mansingh hospital is where that gallbladder was removed AND where the previous record holder for longest gallbladder was removed in 2021.
Gallbladders? How about colons? I am personally acquainted with someone whose colon (still in the body) is 7 feet longer than normal, as measured by a gastroenterologist, and confirmed by a surgeon who had to put it back following unrelated surgery. Believe It or not.
1. The article I saw on BBC News, Simon Berry dunked a chocolate Hobnob NOT a cookie… He jumped at Bray Lake Watersports, Berkshire, (I won’t bore you by stating the country, everybody knows), on 15 October 2016… It was the highest dunk of a biscuit by a bungee jumper at 73.41m…
2. My father, a barber in North London (in fact most barbers did this) performed ‘friction’ hair-cuts, using a standard wax-taper, since the late 50s… The flame depicted in the above RBION drawing maybe a little OTT, but the procedure is not uncommon…
3. I’ve no comment to make regarding the gall-bladder… It maybe correct… I really have no interest… Others may have…
I saw Art Linkletter get his hair cut with fire in the 1960’s on the “Art Linkletter Houseparty”. As a side note I really enjoyed the “Kid’s say the Darndest Things” segment. I didn’t really understand them then, but now when I look back they seem to be a little more “Darndest”.

I’ve a couple of issues with today’s RBION…

If he was English it was a biscuit, not a cookie.
Take care, may revered horsebus driver Lliam “Road Apple” McCord be with you, and gesundheit.

So you go to the barber and he lights your head on fire. How do you not kill him?
dv1093 almost 3 years ago
Simon’s lucky he wasn’t killed.

The Indian barber gives a hot head instead of hot foot.

I’m assuming they’d call it a biscuit, right? Silly Americans, biscuits are for Brits. (And sausage gravy in the South, but that’s another story.)

I’m bald – guess who cuts my hair?

I don’t understand why it’s called a “haircut” when the hair is not being cut!? In this case it’s a “hairburn” I’d say.
