The Norway factoid is new to me. I lived in Oslo for several years and still have close contact with the country. While they have many Christmas traditions, I have never heard about brooms being hidden on Christmas Eve – or of witches and evil spirits for that matter.
My sister used to have a dog called Holly. Her husband had a gold tooth that fell out one day, Holly found it and ate it. It cost him a lot more than £100 to replace it.

Ah, the ol’ “up to” scam. I have a tooth worth up to a million dollars. But good luck getting it.

That’s better for the kids than singing “99 bottles beer on the wall”

‘Twas the night before Xmas and all through the house – not a creature was sweeping – not even an evil spirit or witch because the broom’s are gone
