All they can think about is how much money can they get if they don’t enact any sensible gun regulations….and all of their prayers are for more money….. Yep, the NRA has bought and paid for all those thoughts and prayers .
“Compassion is of little value if it just remains an idea. It must motivate how we respond to others and be reflected in all our thoughts and actions.” -Dalai Lama
“The time has come for us to consider seriously how to change our way of life not through prayer or religious teaching, but through education.” -Dalai Lama
May every Republican lawmaker who is bought/bribed by the NRA, and who does nothing but send out meaningless “thoughts and prayers” after mass shootings—heed the words of Dalai Lama. May their lack of action and disinformation about gun violence in America shame them into taking action or losing their seat in Congress for their blatant neglect to protect and serve our precious children and our country—all in effort to line their pockets with NRA blood money.
300 million + US citizens, 100 million gun owners, 6 million in the NRA. Gun stupidity and refusal to regulate is dictated by the radical minority, even among gun owners. “Thoughts and prayers” go out to tornado “victims”, flood “victims” and others impacted by Mother nature. We can’t control weather and nature very well, but folks try to limit the damage with regulations and education. We CAN control the damage from firearms, it takes more reglation and education, and maybe reduced profits for manufacturers, prayers and thoughtless BS to defend gun “rights” NOT actually in the Constitution, as noted by Scalia.
ANDYLIST, seems you didn’t read notes on Wikipedia; you’re not getting the whole picture.
Go back to Wikipedia and search for the root – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_rampage_killers
If you read the text, not just look at the lists, you will see the following statement:
“Not included are school massacres, workplace killings, hate crimes or familicides, which form their own categories.”
Rather than trashing Wikipedia, which posts references for their data and they add notes sating that the article is missing data or references (like on this page), you might want to read it and look at the sources.
ANDYLIT, Your list is still incomplete. There are still several other categories that you skipped that were in my list. There is also additional information in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_school_shootings_in_the_United_States
There are notes in Wikipedia that state other articles you need to review for the full picture, but you ignored that. Maybe that’s your problem with Wikipedia, you don’t follow their notes.

I am getting to hate hearing that phrase. As a palliative it stinks with overuse.

The fix is simple. Don’t vote for a single Republican, for any office.

Nance, you did it again. You are absolutely amazing.
The first link in my post is….wait for it…the list of school massacres. The entire list, not just the top 15.
Each of the following links is the full list for the 5 geographic categories offered. Not the top 15.
Now that you have your obligatory knee jerk reaction out of your system, read my post again. Follow the instructions and then look for the pattern.
Try very hard to set aside you obvious dislike of me and look at the DATA.

Nance. Get it through your head. My post is about mass killings of all types.
My post is NOT about instances of a single death or wounding in a US school.
Mass Killings, Nance. As defined by the Wiki notes.
