So Clem’s hair style is hereditary?

“Family Resemblance” more like it, although you DO get your hair from your Mother, according to old Irish folk tales.

“family resemblance” = “hereditary”, last i checked.

So school is one of the things Clem doesn’t want to hog.

It looks cuter on the mother. Not sure why those birds are hanging around with Clem.

I got my hair (or lack of it in spots) from my father.

I got my curls from my father and hair color from my mother. The curls or rather frizz make life down right annoying at times. But most likely Clem’s mother styles his hair.

Mother, red & curly, Father blond & wavy—Strawberry blond, wavy & balding. Where did that go wrong?

so he’s NOT going to buy all of the supplies?

Baldness comes from the mother but I think hair texture can come from either side. But, just like color, the dominant gene determines most of what you get. My mother was an auburn haired Italian with very thick hair. I got all of it. I’m almost 68 and still have thick shiny hair. If I were a man though, I would have bald spots.

Mom used to say to me, “I don’t know who you can blame for those teeth.” Nobody smiled in old photos, so it is still a mystery. Fortunately, none of her children or grandchildren inherited hers. If she and I could compromise our front teeth together, ours would have been perfect teeth. One a huge space, and one overlapping.

I had a tee shirt with that on it. lol

Don’t get Clem’s supplies! He can’t write with his arms folded, anyway.

Why have back-to-school ‘reservations’ if you don’t want to go to school?

Clem is up a tree about going back to school. Maybe he will decide to cancel his reservations.
