As an ex-U.S. Navy sailor, head out to sea for 20 plus miles from land. You get away from all that civilized light pollution. There are no night-time biting bugs. And most of all…..The VIEW of the sky and the stars is fantastic!!!
I had the awesome pleasure of seeing a shooting star on my way to NYC…of all places. There it was…witnessed on the NJ Turpike. My husband and I yelled, “Did you see that!!”? Anything is possible when the sky overhead is clear, even in Jersey on the way to NYC. <3

In an increasingly insane world, the simple joys of this comic are a welcome relief. Thank you, Don and Pat.

I hope it’s clear here tonight. We’re supposed to get 60 to 80 meteorites per minute.

I believe that this is the only time I have seen Meemaw with Fanny and Clem—and no one else!
