I saw butterfly parade some years back. While I was waiting for a light to change, I happened to look up, and there was a Monarch butterfly flying south. Then another. Then a couple more. And more. Suddenly I realized there was a whole stream of them on their way to Mexico. It was magic!

Butterfly Parade!
I let a few milkweed plants groe in my garden. Last year I finally saw a Monarch Butterfly, so worth my neighbor thinking I’m nuts.

Good for you! My husband doesn’t even mow the ones in the grass, and we now get fairly regular visits!

it took me 3 tries to get the word “parade” out of that last line, I think it might have worked better without that extra “h”
