I doubt she has many friends besides the monsters.

She’s the best! She’s the proverbial friend who’ll help you move a body.

Why is she telling them that, other than that is the way Mark drew her? She has them for friends, who could want more, PLUS she should be able to intimidate those who taunt her; she can rat them out to Leopold and they will go away.

I’m probably reading too much into this, but it’s really a dick thing to say to someone. It’s the equivalent of “People say that you’re beneath me, but I like you anyway”.

Have a heart, Leopold. And not for breakfast, either.

I’d give her a cookie if she would hang around more. Leopold, being the consummate cad, can’t admit he likes the attention.

CLG wants you, Leopold. Sarcasm will not save you in this case. Beatrice will have her way with you, sooner or later!
