How about the handheld game of seeing which girl would be willing to hold your hand. No PDA, no touching period it seems, because it is sexist, or so some busybody would probably say. But holding hands with a pretty girl has got to be the oldest game around.
Not just a yo-yo; a Duncan Imperial or Butterfly! (Which, I understand, are still around. Alas, my arthritis prevents me from being as good with them as I was as a lad, but I remember them fondly.)
I remember playing Solitaire with real physical playing cards. I/you could always win/finish because it’s solitaire – I/you could make my/your own rules/modifications.

I had a ‘high tech’ driving game. A lightbulb and a turning transparent cylinder. The screen would light up and the road on the cylinder would ‘move’
