Well at least it wasn’t only half full.

The room was twice as big as it needed to be.

At least it wasn’t his colleague William Fartsbutt he speaks at quite length.

If the room was full to begin with, then it’s half empty. If the room was empty before then it’s half full.

Tomorrow he expects to speak to the scheduled meeting of the Procrastinator’s Society. What a doofus!

As a pessimist, he should have been expecting that, and not been disappointed.

The Optimists Club will meet tomorrow, and be delighted that the room is half full.
