Way back in the day, when my Uncle Charles was alive, he had a hearing aid of the type with the amp in his shirt pocket. At the dinner table, he’d turn it off when the dinner conversation got too unseemly. He was a staunch Baptist, you see.
My first hearing aid was one that was one you put it in your shirt pocket, then they would asked the score of the game. Hated the da** thing and finally I got one that fitted behind the ear! Had them now for 60 years! Life savers!
