That you eat in the evening, by candlelight…..
Not “Cajun”?
I don’t mind the charcoal but I don’t like the extinguisher chemical sauce.
To go with this comic noir.
Cosmo should say Roz No!, not Steak Noir!
I don’t even want well done, but prefer a juicier medium rare.
Look , Just run it through a warm room OK?
Sounds like a special for Dracula, but she mis=spelled ‘stake’.
She’s taking lessons from Flo Capp….. but Flo can’t afford steak.
How about a nice thick Salmon steak, with lemon juice drizzled over it. A baked potato or two with sour cream. A fresh green salad. I nice Rhine white wine to drink. And for dessert, an apple pie with some vanilla ice cream sounds good.
Blackened Filet, or char-broiled sirloin. Crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside!
No IR. More like ultra-violent.
Please don’t cancel me, this is a historic reference only, I am sure the injustice has been corrected: here they used to call that Chicago style.
I thought Steak Noir (good one!) was what some folks call Black & Blue.
Hasn’t Cosmo learned — you don’t tell anything to Roz about her cooking, ‘cause it won’t do any good ! ! !
Burnt offering coming up
“Extra crispy.”
Try to find somewhere else to eat
The stove only has one setting. On.
I’ll have the steak charchar, please.
Burned at the steak?
That reminds me: the ‘blackening’ fad seems to have died with its creator, Paul Prudhomme.
Steak flambeau perhaps?
Just short of cremated….
Or blackened, like blackened catfish…
Just cut it off the steer as it ambles by.
Fried in beurre noir…
Cosmo embarks on the discovery of color.
Cajun style? My Cajun Grandma never burned anything. :-)
