When my submarine was in overhaul, we found live roaches in the reactor compartment.

After a toke or two her food is eatable.

And well-fed too!

Better hide your roaches…

I’m glad somebody’s checking on them to be sure.

Way back in college there was a local establishment that students would head to in the early morning hours to grab some grease to help soak up the alcohol ingested from that night’s imbibing. One night, a group of us were sitting at the counter where we could watch the short order cook work his magic. At one point a very large roach ran across the counter next to the grill. The cook used his spatula, smacked the roach, wiped the dead roach off the counter with it, quickly wiped it off on his backside and resumed cooking. I immediately called the waitress over and cancelled my order. Apparently only one other person saw what happened and he cancelled his order. The rest of the folks in the restaurant did not…
