If you don’t listen to hate radio, you really need the foil hat to keep the hate radio waves from programming your brain in the absence of your awareness of them.

I, personally, applaud the use of ‘tin-foil’ hats and other external accoutrements! It allows for easy identification of the mentally deranged! You have no clue as to the mental instability of some people (such as Trump or Bannon or Flynn) until you analyse their speech or their actions, and sometimes that’s much too late!
