That’s a (cartoon rendition) of a female duck. Male ducks (almost always) have a curled up feather or some right near where the tail feathers sprout from the body. And in many cases also have brighter coloration.

Brutal, that was a fowl burn.

A ballet called “Duck Lake” would not have been as graceful.

Did she have an affair with a duck?

I thought it was a misplaced egg that was put into the nest. Maybe that was just his wife’s version.

The ugly duckling was a foundling.

Well, okay, so it sucks to be you.

The cross between a duck and swan, if possible, would be a swuck, a swack, or a duan.

He shouldn’t let her go way down upon the Swanee River.

Swans are kind of terrifying. Like Canada geese, but twice the size.
