I recently found $1.83. It is now safely in glass jar on the counter. I am strangely comforted by it. I should be worried about how it got behind cushions in the first place.
Couldn’t trust a therapist that puts what looks like mating snakes on a big painting in the room. I found $20.00 bill on the street once it was a block or so from the local convenience store. A few steps further there were a couple of empty baby liquor bottles tossed into the landscape. Whoever it was deservedly paid a bit for littering. Instant karma.
Quarters used to fall outta my left pocket and onto the car floor just under the seat. Looking under there I found $5.—All in quarters before finally getting rid of the car.

As a kid, I always checked under the chair and couch cushions when guests left our house—found a good amount of change over the years.
