Well surely monkeys this smart will finds a way to pull a lil trigger.

Last thing you think of when someone is pointing a machine gun at you, “I wonder if they can operate it?” I wouldn’t ask for a demonstration.

Humans are the only primate that can touch fore finger and thumb. Helps in fine adjustments and operating firearms.

What’s hairy, dangerous and lives in a tree? A monkey with a machine gun.

No according to the Planet of the Apes. So this is a rare occasion Tarzan goes for a laugh. Good joke then!

Maybe they could use their toes. They seem to be slightly smaller than their fingers in the pictures I’ve seen.

What a bunch of punks, not a single shot fired.

And, so, unwittingly, Tarzan kicks off the Planet of the Apes apocalypse. Because trigger guard mods are a piece of cake, even for ham-fisted gorillas…

And of course the girl won’t fire her gun either because she would probably break a nail. And so we end another 70’s Sunday Tarzan strip. Will we ever find out what happened to the Great Ape that kidnapped the little kid?

Well, that’s kinda anticlimactic….
