But of course the deep sigh is because Numa is smells Tarzan and it realise impending doom!

Prisoner is oddly garbed. Yet another lost civilization? Can’t throw a brick without hitting another lost civilization in Tarzan’s Africa.

If the sentry is dozing then everyone is sleeping. That big bbq meal just knocked everyone right out.

The only real question is can Tarzan kill Numa, take out the sentry, and free the prisoner without anyone in the camp hearing?

Isn’ “dozing” a form of sleeping? So now we have a tied-up Roman-type captive by what clothing he’s wearing and yet another hungry lion about to go down. Unless that’s Tarzan’s only lion friend Jad-Bal-Ja, the Golden Lion…….?

The armor on the prisoner looks a lot like the armor of the warriors from Athne (Tarzan and the City of Gold #16 in the ERB series)

Deep misunderstanding of the concept of ‘sentry’.

Numa sighed deeply. “Appear in a Tarzan comic”, they said. “It’ll be good for your career”, they said. “What could go wrong?”, they said. Yeah, and they don’t have to deal with The Magic Knife.

How come we never hear about Numa Numa Guy any more? Oh, wait…
