Oh, you naughty boys! Santa won’t like what you did to our sweet little Annie! If you didn’t deserve coal in your stockings before this, you certainly deserve it now.
To bbear from yesterday – while you can’t say that cancer is good news, I’m glad to hear you got the best possible news about your cancer. I hope you have a swift and full recovery.
I have been without any arthritis medicine since last Monday. I have been begging for the medication. To no avail. Tuesday, one of the doctors on my team asked me what my pain level was. I said 9 and told him why. He was furious about the whole situation that a patient had to be in such pain. Turns out the reason why I couldn’t have arthritis medicine is that the hospital pharmacy doesn’t carry it. He talked to my sister in Columbus to bring some to the hospital for me. Pain solved.
@bbear said yesterday: “There are two types of liver cancer: those that form in the bile ducts and spread aggressively, and what I’ve got: those that form in the center of the liver and are slow to spread. My biopsy results are in with good news. I am at stage one.” YAY! Hope all goes well tomorrow & you’re cancer-free for years to come!
Not a great season to be joking about safety gear. Two guys at work were diagnosed with COVID-19. We wear masks and distance religiously but then people go home…
My carpenter’s helpers were sent to repair my collapsing deck today. They appeared to be about 14-15 years old. However they did a great job. They’re probably in their 20s, but the older I get, the younger young folks look. They thought they’d have to replace the 2″×12″ by 16’ board holding the deck to the foundation of the house. However it was fine, and they jacked it up and screwed it to the foundation, and all was fine for some new boards on top. (the joists were fine too). My original carpenter (good ol’ southern boy) had nailed the board to the foundation because he really didn’t want to use a power drill to put screws in. Sigh. I only use Mexican carpenters these days…learned the hard way.
Very funny, wise guys! Those smart alecks are definitely up tp something. On another note, saw three varied thrushes, a junco, a squirrel, a wren, and a rabbit while out walking today.
