Today is:

Get To Know Your Customers Day. I know several of my regular customers, but I won’t get to know any customers today because it’s my day off.

National Give something Away Day. Well, it’s trash day – I’ll let the garbage men take away all the trash that’s in my trash can and they can have it all FREE of charge.

National Gummi Worm Day. I’m not a fan of gummi worms. I can take them or leave them, but mostly, I’d choose to leave them.

National Pet Fire Safety Day

National I Love Horses Day. I have loved horses all my life. I had an imaginary horse when I was a kid.

National Tapioca Pudding Day.

Yesterday’s rain was timed both good and bad. Good, because on my walk to my car to go to work, it was barely coming down, so I didn’t get wet. Bad because I was barely in the car when the deluge came. Raining buckets so I could barely see where I was going. But good again because it was barely raining when I got to work. But bad because I ended up parking right by this huge puddle and no way to step over it, so I had to get one foot wet stepping out of my car. It rained off and on throughout the day while I was at work. Then, just before it was time to go home, there was another heavy downpour. Bad. But then the good thing was that it let up just before I walked to my car to go home. And the big puddle was gone, so I didn’t get a wet foot getting into my car. But then bad because a couple minutes after I got in the car, the downpour came again and once again, I could barely see where I was going. But then good because by the time I got close to home, the rain let up so I was able to get back in the house without getting wet. I was even able to take my trash can to the curb. I think the rain is done now. I’m hoping for no rain today so I can get some work done in my yard and my garden.

Sigh. Those 2…

No rare good mood for Lily today. Now KATZ needs a new desk.

I do love me some Lily grumpiness.

We got a nice downpour last night. It started at 8:42; not with a drizzle but with a noisy deluge. It only lasted about 40 minutes or so but it was great. It came with thunder and lightning, too. We certainly needed it.

I stepped onto the front porch to take a video of my solar flowers in the rain for an Amazon review and found a bod UPS had delivered. It was soaking wet. WHY WHY WHY don’t some of the delivery people ring the bell? Luckily it wasn’t anything that could be ruined. (Foaming hand soap from Bath and Body Works)

We only got a spattering of drops on the window. It all went over to Queen’s house. The rain bands can’t seem to drop down lower to reach us.

Lily in a good mood? Not with Chesney around, that’s for sure. On another note, saw two rabbits while out walking today.
