I’ve gotten friend requests from the deceased too. One of them claimed to be Bob Wharton (known to “Ten Catters” as “bbear”). Another friend request came from someone using a picture of someone named Michelle, who used to work at my Walmart. She died a couple years or so ago. But they just used her picture, not her name. Of course, I didn’t accept those requests.
I still felt a little edgy driving home from work last night, half expecting to see that man out there on the highway again. I was trying to figure out just where it happened, but I couldn’t tell. It was so pitch dark on Tuesday night, I couldn’t tell where I was when it happened. Last night, the moon was out and it wasn’t quite as dark. And there was more traffic, too.
I still don’t know what the guy was trying to do – whether he was trying to commit suicide or if he was trying to make me stop so he could steal my car or do me bodily harm. Whatever it was, I hope someone else who encountered him called the police and that he is now either in police custody or in a mental hospital, depending on which is the proper place for him.
The mouse ‘chow’ I put out nightly gets all taken by morning. The access is blocked to larger animals, so I know they are getting it. I hope they hoard so they have feed when I don’t “put out”.

Anyone know what species of duck that is?
I know male ruddy ducks have blue bills during mating season. If this duck is in a similar state, with that much blue, I’d get out of his way.
(I’m assuming it’s a male as they are the more colorful.)
