And it’s going to be a long night because we set our clocks back one hour tonight. Or do they not do that in Canada?

As I was getting in my car yesterday to go to work, I saw a blue jay in my lilac bushes. It had been several YEARS since I’ve seen a blue jay! I also saw a black capped chickadee in my peach tree. I have a platform type bird feeder in that tree and I put a big sunflower head in that feeder and the black capped chickadee was after some lunch.

Can’t say I blame them. Lily is a very feisty cat.

Oohh Lilly, lighten up, the rest of the family need to twitch a whisker now & again!

Wouldn’t the boardroom be more comfortable than a lightpost?

The difference, right there, between Chez and Lilly.

You had better listen to Lilly.

Now That’s where Lily belongs: barking orders!

I see they’re labeled now. How useful. Although, as you can see in the last panel, all cats (most, anyway) are grey in the dark.

My mother has this effect on most people.

OT . . Dogs of C-Kennel is back! Good ’ol Gocomics took a week to correct this.

We left OKC at exactly 4 this morning and are spending the night in Albuquerque.Tomorrow is probably Kingman AZ. I’m ready to be home.

Today my 19 year old kitty Princess Caramel (I got her when I was 4 and a half :] ) passed away. She never stopped going, but took a bad turn late last night, still she waited for my brother to get home from a trip and see her before she passed. I will miss her.

The kitties do not want to face the wrath of Lily. It’s going to be a long night. On another note, saw four juncos, a raven, two spotted towhees, and a wren while out walking today.
