NATIONAL STRAWBERRY ICE CREAM DAY. I peeked ahead yesterday, so I bought strawberry ice cream yesterday especially for today.

A little snack break never hurt anyone.

Where did the vending machine come from? Do we want to know what’s in it?

Oliver, you made me giggle. It’s a good thing I didn’t have coffee in my mouth!

He’s just a growing baby.

You just couldn’t be mad at Oliver when he looks so cute in his little bell-hop uniform!

Went down to Vegas yesterday to pick up my sewing cabinet. It took 41 days to get there so you can imagine I was excited about it. I’d been dealing with a woman who handles all of the online orders and she’s based in TX. When I went in to get the cabinet, the lady in the store was clueless. I got the feeling she didn’t believe me so I finally pulled up all of the texts from the lady in TX. Oh, this one says. I’ll go check. OMG. Why not just do that in the first place. A young man came out, told Brad where to park by the loading dock. They got it all loaded. Brads’ ex boss and current boss are coming over to help unload it today. That thing is HEAVY.

While that was going on, I asked about a quilting kit the TX lady said she’d put aside for me. Nobody could find it. I finally texted the lady in TX. She called the store and told them where it was. While that part of this chit show was going on, I found another kit on sale. I asked several people where the coordinating fabrics were. DING DING DING!! The top answer was I DON’T KNOW. Finally, I said enough is enough and I’ll find fabric online or up here in my quilt shops.

Oliver must be getting some good tips if he can shop at the vending machine. I think critters are giving him extra tips because he’s so darn cute in his uniform.

Great pictures today. :)

I think I saw Popeye do something similar in a cartoon. He was more successful than Oliver, though. (Possibly because there were no vending machines around.) Oh well, no one’s perfect. On another note, saw a robin, six juncos, and a Northern flicker woodpecker while out walking today.
