Well today I’ve hit a milestone of sorts, I’ve officially become a " Long Hauler" if you make it to 85 without any health problems, you will most likely hit 90 and beyond… I can’t believe I’m this old…sigh.

Totally saw that coming….

Getting off to a fine start but will soon be them talking all over each other until it sounds like cats in a kennel.

Dang! So, the bottom portion of the house got built out 2–4 inches? Yeah, I can see that would be pricey as they had to frame out all around the various windows, doors and other openings. And you’re still chilly in the house? I had to double-check your page to see if you lived in Siberia, or Antarctica; you must be in high elevation.

Mainer guy’s house got the 4 inch depth while we did two. Owner Joe and I did this and yes, stand off extensions for the windows, are 2×4s cut diagonally so that when you are looking out any of the windows you don’t feel “framed in” as the taper keeps them out of your line of sight. My door, only have one, was framed that way on just the part next to the wall. It is easier to keep the temp more even now. This elevation hit between 11 and 14 below (F) a couple weeks ago. Approx. 5400 ft. here.

I’ve never watched any of those talk shows, but this one would be a gem!!!

Will finish setting up the sewing cabinet today then send some pics to jessegooddoggy. I’ll have Brad set up my chair, too. I have to put my sewing machine in it, too, and figure out how to the up/down lever works.

Congrats on the big 85!! I just hit 81, but do have lots of health issues..plus a pace maker and other devices wired up in me. I think I don’t want any more either. I can say I am content..I have my cats so I take each day as it comes. Be well my friend.

We began to refer to our new female kitten as Princess Sunny. The boy kitten, Dudley, needs tranquilizers….and a 1st visit with Mr. nail clippers. o u c h

Now there’s a subject her Royal Highness Lily knows a lot about. This should prove to be quite interesting. On another note, saw six chickadees and two golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
