From yesterday’s comments to jessegooddoggy – I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your Freddog. There just are no words to heal the hole that this leaves in your heart. You have my deepest condolences.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who had such kind words for me after Fred’s passing. He was one great dog, and such a handsome boy. .I’m just sad and missing him terribly.

That’s a humdinger of an idea.

I was at WalMart at 6:56 thinking I’d be in and out. I would have except they are remodeling and adding to the store so you have to hunt for things. Finally got to the checkout. Not a SINGLE checker except for the self checkout. When I have a cart full of stuff, I don’t want to do it myself. A bunch of us were saying the same thing. Now, if they gave us a 5% discount for doing THEIR work, maybe I’d be ok with it. Half of my cart had three 30 lb bags of cat food for Deb so I didn’t really have that much to check through but it was still annoying. And, I don’t like weighing fruits and veggies. I make them do it.And, by the way, WHY is honey mustard with the mayo and salad dressings and not with the mustard, ketchup and bbq sauces?

Okay! I will!

That’s good advice. I like the play on words with “Buzzword” and “Bee.” Quite clever. On another note, saw two spotted towhees, ten robins, a Swainson’s thrush, a junco, and four Wilson’s warblers while out walking today.

we have a new visitor to our backyard. a good sized racoon showed up yesterday at the neighbor’s house, trying to open the garbage can. today, he has moved into the trees in our common area, and tested all my bird baths.
