We bought an extra long one for our previous male cat, who measured 35" from nose tip to tail tip. Our present male cat is a such tiny little fellow, he looks lost in it.
My girls have two huge boxes. one upstairs, one in the basement. I think they measure something like 18×35? and very deep. I’m thinking of replacing the upstairs box with a stainless steel model that is slightly smaller, but so much more hygienic. At least that’s what the experts say?
As Truder got older he started missing the litter box. He would crawl in, go one or two steps and let fly. Then he’d turn around, make some covering motions and crawl out. I got him a larger litterbox which was lower at one end. He could step in and go the 1-2 steps and be in the box. Eventually even that got hard for him and there would be ‘misses’ once or twice a week. I miss him.

Mitty, what about us readers having to suffer so early in the morning?

But Mitty, the Tabby Brothers will be wild with envy about your #fancylitterbox.
You’ll have to have a party to show it off.
