It’s the Maine Militia going after one of them there dern Moose-lem terrorists from the evil empire of Canada! It’s what dear leader Donnie would want them to do!!
all have info about this artist, perhaps in addition to what’s pointed to by the first URL. This is the first work by him used here.
Again, a (slightly this time) larger strip image is shown by clicking the image in Mr. Melcher’s MASTERPIECE #1979 (June 20, 2018) blog entry, accessible by the Check out the blog! box after the last comment.
This was wonderful! Very funny and creative. This is one of my new favorite comics!
Personally, though, the comic today would have read easier for me if Mr. Melcher had put the name in quotations:
“Falls-From-Canoe-Just-As-About-To-Stab-Moose”
I know both ways are correct and appropriate… but for me, having the quotes would have further delineated the name… the way it currently is, I had to read it a few times to discern the actual name.
Another example of Theory of Unintended Consequences about to be demonstrated.
Even if you kill the beast before it topples you and your tipsy canoe, how do you get a 680 kilo Moose into it, – or tow it, without any tow rope, and two scrawny guys paddling ?

DeForest Brush tried to found an artistic dynasty. Unfortunately, he named his firstborn son Under. Some say that’s why it never worked out.

If they succeed, it’s going to take about 12 of them to get that critter out of the water.
